Natalia Teresa Avila

July 27, 1961 — July 1, 2025

Natalia Teresa Avila, a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and treasured great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2025, in Temple, Texas. Born on July 27, 1961, in Villa Morelos, Mexico, Natalia lived a life rich with love and purpose that resonated through her unwavering commitment to her family and community.

For over 23 years, Natalia dedicated herself to her role as a custodian at Belton Early Childhood Development, where she became a beloved figure to countless children and their families. Her warm smile and gentle spirit made her a beacon of kindness; she nurtured an environment where every child felt valued and cared for.

Natalia was a woman of many passions. She found immense joy in gardening, crocheting, and cooking, often surrounding her family with freshly cut flowers and delicious meals that echoed the love she poured into every dish. Her hobbies were an extension of her caring nature, and spending quality time with family brought her the greatest happiness. She took pride in her family, which she considered her proudest accomplishment, demonstrating through every shared moment how deeply she loved them.

She leaves behind her devoted husband, Austrederto Avila of Belton, and her beloved children: Sergio Avila and his wife, Elizabeth of Harlingen; Jeronimo Avila of Belton; Evangelina Tidwell and her husband, Wesley of Belton; and Rosario Gage of Belton. Natalia's family extends further with ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild, who will all carry her memory in their hearts.

Natalia was welcomed into heaven by her loving parents, who instilled in her the strong values she passed down through generations. She is also survived by her brothers, Juventino Reyes and his wife, Julia of Plainview; Rosalio Reyes and his wife, Marta of Plainview; Agustin Reyes and his wife, Veronica of Mexico; and Enrique Corona and his wife, Gisela of Plainview. Her sister, Evangeline Reyes and her husband, Felicitos of Plainview, continue to remember her with great fondness.
