Neeshay Jones

God called Neeshay “Shay” Cooper Jones, age 37, of Harker Heights home on Saturday, July 2, 2022.  

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton. A homegoing celebration for Neeshay will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at Destiny World Outreach Center in Killeen. Her burial will follow at 2:00 P.M. at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.

Neeshay was born on June 18, 1985, to Rufus and Vinnie Madison in Pensacola, Florida. She met her husband Robert Michael Jones while he was stationed in Fort Benning, GA and fell in love over a card game of Spades. They married on November 28, 2017. Neeshay was a loving wife and a devoted mother to her children. She was someone who dedicated her life to helping others. She worked as a Human Resource Specialists for many years and was a recent graduate of Liberty University. Neeshay left an imprint on everyone’s heart that she encountered. She will be remembered by all the love and kindness that her gentle heart gave, and her infectious laughter.

Neeshay was preceded in death by her father and stepmother Rufus and Jessie Cooper; brother, Rufus Cooper Jr.; maternal grandparents, James & Maryjane Fountain; niece, Kadeidra Bonner; cousins, Janet Maderson & Javonte’ Shoemo.

Mrs. Neeshay Jones leaves to cherish her most precious memories to her husband, Robert Michael Jones; Seven Children, Jaquan Hale, Jaquez Hale, Demetric Jones, Alyssa Vaughn, Cameran Jones, Dominique Shepard, and Robert Jones; mother, Madison Devine; siblings, Bruce Cooper and wife, Ruby, Annie Woods and husband Levan, Regina Wiggins and husband Jonathan, Kathy Johnson and husband, Samuel, Terry Cooper and wife, Lisa, Nakeshia Clark, Willie Maderson, Travis Maderson, Alisceya Maderson, and Justin Cooper; nephew, Dashawn Bonner; nieces, Star Maderson & Mariah Sampson; aunts, Geraldine Sheffield, Edna Williams, Janni Kennedy, and Lula Fountain; uncles Jessie (Donna) Fountain & George Fountain; and an abundance of other relatives, and devoted friends.
