Peter Michael Jobin, affectionately known to many as “PJ the DJ,” or " Panhead Pete" passed away on August 31, 2026, in Killeen, Texas. He was born on April 7, 1948, in Rumford, Maine.

Peter will be remembered as a loving and devoted father, the bestest Papa, and a true friend. He carried a passion for music and old cars that brought joy to his life and to those around him. He was also someone who enjoyed keeping his mind active, and he could often be found working on crossword puzzles or reading to, as he liked to say, “exercise his brain.”

Throughout his life, Peter was known as a jack of all trades, bringing versatility, determination, and a practical spirit to all he did. His education included St. John’s Elementary, Casadaga Seminary, Stephens High School, and the University of M.E. Beyond his work and studies, he found happiness in riding motorcycles and loved to travel, embracing the freedom of the open road and the experiences that came with seeing new places.

Above all, family was central to Peter’s life. He is survived by his daughter, Sarah Jobin, as well as his sons, Seth Jobin and Isaiah Jobin. He is also survived by his siblings; brothers Leonce “Lee” Jobin III and Christopher “Chris” Jobin; sisters Jennifer Libby and Elizabeth Cook;  grandchildren Christian Jobin, Shania Linerud, and Kathryn Jobin, and great granddaughter Cybille Jobin. The love he gave as a father, brother, Papa, and friend will remain a lasting part of the lives he touched.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leonce John Jobin II; mother, Ruth Ann Jobin; sister, Cythnia Ann Jobin; brothers, Marc Dennis Jobin and Charles Anthony Jobin; and grandson, Jestin Daniel Jobin.

Peter Michael Jobin will be remembered with love for his warmth, his many interests, his strong intellect, and the deep care he showed to his family and friends. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
