Born on June 21, 1977, in Killeen, Texas, the daughter of, Ralph Baker and Linda Ellis, Rani's creative spirit was evident from a young age. She was known for her remarkable talents and abilities, using her artistic ability she captivated audiences as an artist at Lucid Comics. Her musical talents also shown through as she created songs that were enjoyed by all who listened. Apart from her artistic achievements and musical endeavors, Rani was also a gifted poet and a Portland Indie video game programmer.
Rani had a unique ability to touch the lives of everyone she met. Her warm presence and genuine kindness made her a beacon of light for those around her. Her captivating personality and infectious laughter brought joy to every room she entered. Rani's deep passion for life and love for others made her an extraordinary individual.
On October 6, 2023, Rani departed this world in Portland, Oregon, leaving behind an immense void in the hearts of her loved ones. She is survived by Millie Vaughan (grandmother), Ralph Baker (father), Linda Ellis (mother), Christopher Baker (brother), Rachel Blakeley (sister), David Adams (uncle), Ron Adams (uncle), and Tiffa Blakeley (niece).
Rani's vibrant life and legacy, will be celebrated on December 12, 2023. The event will take place at Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Belton, Texas. Beginning at 12:00 PM, friends and family will gather to celebrate the profound impact Rani had on their lives. This special gathering promises to be a testament to the love and admiration held for Rani.
Following the Celebration of Life, Rani will be laid to rest at North Belton Cemetery in Belton, Texas.
