Raul Navarrette Garcia, a beloved, brother and friend, passed away on April 2, 2024, in Temple, Texas. He was born in Rosebud, Texas, on July 15, 1955 to Henry H. Garcia and Angelina Navarrette Garcia. .

Raul led a life filled with remarkable achievements and meaningful connections. He proudly served as a U.S. Marine for many years, demonstrating his dedication to his country and fellow corpsman. His time in the military was one of his proudest accomplishments, showcasing his bravery and commitment. In his pursuit of knowledge, Raul obtained his Bachelor's degree from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor in Belton and also earned a Paralegal Certificate.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Raul found joy in various hobbies and interests that enriched his life. Whether he was painting with vibrant colors, exploring new destinations through travel, enjoying classic western movies or engrossed in a good book, Raul's curiosity knew no bounds. He found solace in playing solitaire and treasured moments spent with his cherished family and friends.

Raul will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He is survived by his brothers Henry Garcia (Abeona) of Temple, Robert Garcia (Amanda) of Midlothian, David Garcia of Midway, Daniel Garcia of Temple, Roger Garcia of Temple; as well as his sisters Yolanda Lopez (Johnny) and Diana Lopez (Johnny), both from Temple. Raul is preceded in death by his loving parents and brothers Louis N. Garcia and Rosendo N. Garcia.
