Rebecca Lynn Espinal - Blizzard, 54, of Belton passed away on May 25, 2021 at a local hospital.
Rebecca was the daughter of Fernando Espinal Sr. and Lois Lively, born on December 02, 1966 in Glendale, California. Mrs. Blizzard graduated with her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor. She worked for the Department of Defense and was given a Special Recognition Award from the Secretary of Defense for creating and managing the Air Force Aid tent in Incirlik AB Turkey during Operation Desert Storm. She also worked for Texas Hydraulics. Rebecca enjoyed photography and writing. She often assisted people with resume writing and photo shopping. Her favorite things were spoiling her dogs bragging about them to her friends and family. She loved anything related to horses. Rebecca was very wise and because of her many years working for government agencies, she helped many people with college applications and other assistance. While attending UMHB she received several awards for articles she had written and sports photos she captured.
A memorial service will be held for Rebecca on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Crotty Funeral Home, with Pastor H.K. Ballard officiating. Her service will be streamed live. This is the information to join the memorial service.

She leaves behind her parents; a loving husband of 32 years, Russell Blizzard of Belton; three sisters; Vicky Espinal-Tanner of VA, Sharon Ishikawa of NC and Shirley Kendall of SC; and a brother, Fernando Espinal Jr. of MA; 4 wonderful nieces and 3 amazing nephews.
