Regina Joy Hunter, a beloved daughter and sister, passed away peacefully at her home in Troy, Texas, on December 8, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and joy that will forever resonate within the hearts of her family and friends. Born on September 30, 2004, in Los Angeles, California, Regina embraced life with a radiant spirit that drew people to her.
Regina graduated from Troy High School in 2025, marking a significant milestone in her young life. Her time in school was characterized by a positive energy that uplifted everyone around her, and her kind demeanor made her a cherished friend among her classmates.
As a devoted member of her family, Regina found immense joy in the company of her parents, Bill and Angela Hunter, who nurtured her with love and wisdom. She is survived by her siblings: Dalten and Willie Hunter, whose camaraderie and brotherly; Janie Hunter who shared so many special moments with her; and Jazmin Chatterton of Kempner, along with Angel Watson of Houston, who brought laughter and cherished memories into her life.
Regina had a beautiful spirit that shined brightly through her illness. She found happiness in the simple pleasures of life, always relishing the moments spent listening to Gospel music and cocooned in the comfort of watching television with her siblings. Her favorite show, Sponge Bob, was a testament to her playful nature and affectionate heart. These moments, filled with laughter and love, created cherished memories that her family will hold dear forever.
She is preceded in death by one sister Destiny Hunter
The memorial service to celebrate Regina's life will be held at Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Belton, Texas, on December 23, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. This occasion will not only honor the life of a vibrant young woman but will also be an opportunity for her family and friends to come together, share their stories, and remember the impact Regina left on their lives.
