On August 11, 2025, the world lost a gentle soul, Richard Bruce Harman, who passed away in Fort Hood. Born on June 6, 1972, in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Richard was known for his infectious laughter and a spirit that could light up any room.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Tracy Harman, who was the love of his life and partner in all his adventures. As a father, he found immense joy in his two children, Aaron Ladd from Hamlet, NC, and Audreyanna Stenfeldt of Killeen, Texas. Richard's heart swelled with pride as he watched them grow, always eager to impart his knowledge of fishing, building, and the importance of family. He was especially proud of his four grandchildren, who were his greatest treasures, filling his days with laughter and love.

Richard's family also includes his siblings, John Harman of Shallotte, NC, Connie Harman of Winston-Salem, NC, Terri Haddock of Shallotte, NC, and Dawn Harman of Shallotte, NC, Tommi Ann, Donnie and Ronnie. The bonds they forged over the years, filled with childhood memories and adult camaraderie, will be cherished forever.

Richard was a man of many talents, building his own boat and showcasing his skills as a handyman. Whether he was out fishing or enjoying a hearty steak, he always embraced life with a sense of adventure. His fondness for Swiss rolls, Little Debbies, and Mello Yellow offered a glimpse into his love for the simple pleasures that brought him joy.

While Richard's life was cut short, his legacy will live on through his loving family. He is preceded in death by his father, Richard Harman, his mother, Jonna Snodgrass, his two daughters Tasha Regan and Megan Harman , his stepmother Mary Harman, and his brothers Mike and Darrell. and his son, Richard Harman III, who also departed too soon.

Richard's funeral service will take place on August 21, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Belton, Texas. It will be a time to remember, share stories, and honor the impact he made on the lives of those who knew and loved him.

In the hearts of his loved ones, Richard Bruce Harman remains an irreplaceable part of their lives, his spirit guiding them with every cherished memory they hold dear.
