Rodney Craig Wallace

Rodney Craig Wallace, 60, of Round Rock passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at a local hospital. A visitation will held from 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. on Monday, May 14, 2018 at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton. Funeral services for Rodney will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton with Jason Harris officiating. Rodney was born on July 10, 1957 to Waymon and Betty Wallace in Belton. He worked in security most of his life. Rodney was known for his dry sense of humor, being able to tell you just about anything with a straight face, seeing the best in everything, and for being able to fix just about anything. He enjoyed fishing, riding his Harley, gardening, being outside, and tinkering with small engines. Rodney loved being with his family, and his grand dogs. He was preceded in death by his father, Waymon Wallace in 1999, and his brother, Bill Walker Sr. January 24, 2013. Rodney is survived by his mother, Betty Walker of Belton ;his girlfriend, Kathy Linden of Giddings, his son, Jay Lynn Wallace of Weir; his three daughters, Viola Wallace of Round Rock,Rebecca Ann Corbell of Jarrell, and Amanda Renee Sheffield of Burnett;his brothers, Tammy Lynn Wallace,Wilburn Lee Walker, and Waymon Wallace Jr., all of Belton;his sisters, Bonnie Peet of Florida, and Melinda King of Weir;seven grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
