Ronald L. Branham, a dedicated and respected figure in the world of manufacturing, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on April 17, 1938, in Springfield, Illinois, Ronald's journey was marked by a profound commitment to family, service, and his career as the CEO of Orion Industries.
A proud veteran, Ronald served with distinction in the United States Army, specifically in Battery B of the 1st Missile Battalion, 517th Artillery from 1957 to 1960. His military service instilled in him the values of duty and camaraderie that he carried throughout his life.
On October 26, 1962, Ronald married his beloved wife, Marybeth Branham, in Delta, Colorado. Together, they shared 62 cherished years of marriage filled with love, respect, and companionship. Ronald was known for his kindness and gentle spirit, traits that endeared him to family and friends alike. He cherished his time spent with loved ones, creating memories that would last a lifetime.
Ronald is survived by his devoted wife, Marybeth; their three daughters, Patti Pearson and her husband Karl, Judy Beldin, and Lori Islas. He is also survived by his siblings Robert, Russell, Paul (Buddy), Frank, Wayne, Dorothy, Doris, Linda, Marilyn, Janet, Ricky, and Sandra. His legacy continues with cherished grandchildren Angie Avila, Tanya Wing, Tina Riggs, Jenessa Zaragoza, Karl (Lee) Pearson, and Silby West; as well as great-grandchildren Ruben Avila, Jasmine Avila, Arthur Riggs, Novalee Wing, Olivia Wing, Matthew Wing, and Theodore West.
In addition to his accomplishments and legacy, Ronald mourns the loss of several loved ones who preceded him in death, including his parents, Ivan Lee Branham and Beulah Anna Branham; brothers Dale and Larry; sisters Gloria Bly and Sharon Frank; as well as his great-granddaughter Brianna Avila. Their memories will forever live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
A burial service to honor Ronald's life and contributions will be held on October 13, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of a man whose life was a testament to love, service, and kindness. His presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
