For most of his life, Ronald was the dependable, hardworking person who looked after the properties he maintained with genuine care. Cherished by the tenants, he was more than just a maintenance worker; he was a trusted friend and a reassuring presence in the community. Ronald's passion for his work was evident to all who knew him, but his true pride and joy were always his children--the shining center of his world.

Ronald's commitment to family went far beyond daily support. He loved his grandchildren dearly, and the laughter, strength, and unwavering love he shared with his family will continue to live on through the generations he helped shape. Stories of his devotion remain vivid among those who knew him best. One such memory that captures his loving spirit was the time he drove across several states just to fix a vanity for his son during a move to a new home--putting the needs of his family above all else without hesitation. This selfless act was emblematic of his character: a hard-working man who would drop everything for his loved ones.

Beyond his role as provider and caretaker, Ronald possessed a gentle soul with simple pleasures that brought him joy. He found happiness in fishing, indulging in sweets, and trying his luck with lotto scratch-offs, small joys that balances a life filled with responsibility and care.

Ronald leaves behind a loving circle of family who will carry forward his legacy of love and dependability. His beloved wife, Michelle Knight of Killeen, formerly of Indianapolis, IN, stood by his side through countless moments of joy and challenge. He is survived by his parents, Ronald and Marilyn Knight of Indianapolis, Indiana, who nurtured the values that shaped him into the man he became. His son, Ronald Knight III, and daughter-in-law, Kylee, of Owensville, Missouri, along with his daughters, Breanna Knight of Indianapolis, Indiana, as well as Naomi Knoy of Killeen, carry the torch of his love and influence. His stepdaughter, Alyssa Reams, and grandchildren Kinsley, Ronni, Bobby, Bryleigh, Remington, Alexandra, along with step-grandchildren Zilyn and Oaklee, will forever remember his warmth and strength. 

Ronald also leaves behind his brother, Rick Knight and wife Jenny of Indianapolis, and sister, Jennifer Dean of Killeen--a family united not only by blood but by shared memories and the enduring bond of affection. 

Amidst the vibrant tapestry of his living family, the heartache of loss remains palpable with the passing of his daughter, Whitney Knoy. Her memory lives on in the hearts of all who loved her, alongside the enduring spirit of Ronald himself.

Ron was a man who could light up any room he walked into and his personality was contagious. He appeared tough on the outside but had the biggest heart, and would drop everything to help anyone. You would have been lucky to know him; he was such an incredible person and made the darkest days brighter. He went out of his way to make his loved ones laugh and he did it without fail; especially his Donald Duck voice that made his grandbabies laugh. 

Ronald's story is one of commitment beyond words, a testament to the power of putting family first and the lasting imprint of a hard-working family man who never wavered. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered forever.
