Ronald "Ronnie" Lee McCoy

Ronald “Ronnie” Lee McCoy, 75, of Temple passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021 in a local nursing home. Ronnie was born to Ethel and J.T. McCoy on June 28, 1945 in Tyler, Texas. Ronnie was a hardworking man who loved spending time with his family and visiting his family in East Texas.

A visitation for Ronnie will be held on Monday, January 18, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 03, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Cedar Valley Cemetery in Salado.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his brothers, Donald Conyers and Charles Jones; his sister, Jan McAteer; his grandson, Daniel McCoy; and his great grandchildren Joseph James McCoy and Ta’ Shaun and Ta’ Shawn Johnson.

Ronnie is survived by his daughters, Amanda McCoy of Temple and Brenda McCoy of Killeen; his brother, William McCoy of Belton; and his sisters, Barbara Mercer of Florida and Patricia Ruskauff of Arkansas; his six grandchildren; and his seventeen great grandchildren.
