Sandra Lovella Hull

Sandra Lovella Hull, a devoted educator and loving mother, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2025, in Waco, Texas, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family. She was born on December 28, 1948, in Homerville, Georgia, where her journey filled with passion for teaching and love for family began.

Sandra dedicated her life to nurturing young minds, teaching English and reading for Killeen Independent School District. Her impact as an educator was profound, as she inspired countless students to find joy in literacy and learning. Prior to her long-standing teaching career, Sandra utilized her artistic flair as a cosmetologist, showcasing her creativity and attentive care for others.

An alumna of the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Sandra earned a bachelor's degree in both English and Reading, a testament to her commitment to education. She was not just a teacher; she was a beacon of knowledge, encouragement, and compassion. A lifelong lover of literature, Sandra especially adored the works of William Shakespeare and C.S. Lewis, often quoting their words to those around her.

Sandra cherished the simple pleasures of life. She had a fondness for the color red, and could often be found indulging in her favorite cooking shows or solving intricate puzzles. A lover of true romance, she delighted in Hallmark movies, which brought her comfort and joy. Her passion for the arts and her curiosity about the world around her enriched her life and the lives of those she loved.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Britton Archer, of Robinson, Texas; her sons, Todd Tubb and his wife Kelley of Big Spring, Texas, and Tim Tubb and his wife Robin of Belton, Texas. Sandra was a proud grandmother to Ace Archer, Piper Danks, Hayden and Cheyenne Tubb, Hannah and Logan Terry, and her cherished great-grandchild, Elliott Madelyn Terry. Her legacy lives on through her family, who carry forward her love, kindness, and dedication.

She also leaves behind her dear sisters, Janice Combs of Big Spring, Texas, and Linda Hattenbach of Belton, Texas, who will hold onto their memories of laughter and friendship.

Sandra was preceded in death by her loving husband, Clinton Hull, whose spirit she carried in her heart; her mother, Myrtle Dampier; her father, Jimmy Allen; and her brother-in-law, Aaron Combs. Each of their influences shaped her life and character, and she treasured the lessons they instilled.

The love that Sandra shared transcended her time with us, woven into the fabric of all her relationships. She will be profoundly missed but remembered with admiration and love by all who had the privilege of knowing her. As we reflect on her life, we celebrate the warmth she brought into our lives and the indelible mark she left on our hearts.
