Saul Enrique Lobo

November 3, 1998 — February 20, 2026

Saul Enrique Lobo, a shining light in the lives of so many, passed away tragically on February 20, 2026, in Temple, Texas, due to a motorcycle accident. He was born in Denver, Colorado on November 3, 1998, Saul’s life was a remarkable journey filled with adventure, laughter, and an unwavering spirit.

A proud veteran, Saul served in the U.S. Army from 2016 to 2022. His commitment to his country was evidenced by his distinguished service, earning several accolades including the Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korea Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, and an Overseas Service Medal. His family remembers him as a man who wore his military service like a badge of honor, and he was equally proud of his accomplishments outside of the uniform.

In addition to his military service, Saul dedicated himself to a rewarding career. He worked at ProPetro Oil and Gas and took on the responsibilities of a jailer for the Bell County Sheriff's Department as well as security at Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple. Each role he undertook was marked by his adventurous nature and his passion for helping others.

Saul was known for living life to the fullest. He had an infectious love for adventure—be it through shooting, fishing, or riding his beloved motorcycle. His fearless zest for life kept his family on their toes, often worrying them with his escapades. Saul’s playful spirit extended to building complex figurines, video gaming, and making those around him laugh—a gift he cherished sharing with friends and family alike.

He was deeply loved and admired by his family, including his mother Maria Arce of Odessa, father Yohalmo Lobo, brother Angel Lobo of Belton, and sister Veronica Lobo of Odessa. His sister holds dear the memory of how her daughter Genesis would follow him around, captivated by her "handsome uncle" in his cowboy hat and boots. His brother Angel reflects on their unique bond and mourns the memories that will now never be made together. Their mother, Maria, is heartbroken over the loss of her sweet Saul, missing every moment they shared. In his absence, they are comforted to know that he was surrounded by love, especially in his final moments. The family extends its gratitude to Reese, and others that were there for Saul in his last moments and provided comfort knowing he was not alone.

Saul was also a devoted companion to his dog, Pickles, who would eagerly await his daily greetings, marking one of the countless joyful aspects of his life. Pickles will forever love him and look for him always.

Saul joins his beloved grandparents, Feliciano and Maria Lobo, his cousin, Mikayla Arce, his uncle, Raul Arce, and his brother Angel's dog, Solina, who will all surely welcome him with open arms.

As we remember Saul Enrique Lobo, we celebrate not just the individual he was but the impact he made on so many lives. His adventurous spirit, sense of humor, deep love for family, and his friends that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
