Sharron Louise Pollom passed away on September 7, 2026, in Temple, Texas. She was born on January 22, 1956, in Fort Knox, Kentucky, and will be remembered as a woman whose presence was impossible to overlook—sarcastic, sassy, a jokester, and, in the most affectionate sense, delightfully “good weird.”

Sharron lived a life defined by resilience, adaptability, and character. She wore many hats over the years, working as a seamstress, a bartender, and in bail bonds. Each role reflected her ability to meet life head-on and to bring her own unmistakable spirit wherever she went. She was also proud to serve as a military spouse, a role that speaks to a life shaped by loyalty, strength, and devotion to family.

Those who knew Sharron knew her sharp wit and lively personality well. She had a way of making an impression, often with humor, candor, and a spark that was entirely her own. Her laughter, her sass, and her playful way of moving through the world will remain part of the memories cherished by those who loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Anthony Pollom of Belton, Texas. She also leaves behind her son, Steven Long, and his wife, Amy, of Gatesville, Texas; and her daughter, Sarah Dube of Worcester, Massachusetts. Her family was further blessed by the love of her grandchildren, Mary Katherine Copeland, Gage Michael Caissie, Landon Bryce Beck, Steven Neil Long II, Braiden Neil Dube, and Ava Mae LeBlanc, each of whom carries forward a part of her story.

Sharron is also survived by her brothers, William Robert Madison Moore Jr of Mart, Texas, Wayne Roger Moore of Temple, Texas, and Johnny David Moore of Bruceville-Eddy, Texas. She was preceded in death by her father, William Moore; her mother, Opal Moore; and her sisters, Hilda Jean Thompson, Josette Marie Snellgrove, and Karron Sue Thompson. The bonds of family shaped her life, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who shared it with her.
