Shawn Keith Miller

February 11, 1964 — April 23, 2019

On the morning of Tuesday April 23, 2019, Shawn Keith Miller of Holland, Texas passed away at the age of 55. Shawn was born to Robert Miller and Janice Waddell at Fort Hood Army Base in Fort Hood, Texas on February 11, 1964. On May 2, 2009, Shawn was wed to Brandy White at the couple's local church, 3C Cowboy Fellowship in Salado, Texas. They shared over twenty years of life's adventures, struggles, and lessons. A graduate of Temple High School, Class of 1980, Shawn found his calling in sales with Friend Tire Company, connecting with numerous customers and long-time clients with his fun loving nature and charming conversation. Shawn enjoyed a wide variety of interests including collecting corvettes, collecting comic books, comic action figures, movies, music albums, tools, and jewelry. He was a man of many interest;, muscle cars, trips to historic places, repairing and rebuilding watches, and posting witty memes and quotes on social media to keep us all smiling, laughing, and sometimes cocking our head to the side with a look of confusion. He was an intriguing character; his comic book action figures poised creatively around his desk, Corvette models, and Mustang calendars adorning the office he worked so diligently in. It is an all too familiar memory to wonder what new addition might be present on each visit to see him. His faith was a truly inspiring attribute, as he was not ashamed to share it, or let it manifest a determination to donate to the church or other selfless causes. This is true of Shawn; he loved life and he loved his family deeply. Shawn is survived by his wife Brandy, 3 sons; Eric Miller, Ricky and Christopher White, his grandchildren; Braden, Cormac, Emma, and Layla, his mom Janice Cuellar, his sister and brother-in-law, Monica and Derrick Evers, his brothers Bobby and Dwayne Miller. Shawn is remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, aunts, uncles, co-workers, and countless clients over the years. Shawn is preceded in death by his father, Robert Miller and stepfather Albert Cuellar. The viewing service will be held at Crotty Funeral Home on Friday April 26, 2019 from 5-7 pm. Funeral Services will be on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 3C Cowboy Fellowship in Salado, Texas at 11:00 am followed immediately by a graveside service at Salado Cemetery. Shawn's generous nature even beyond this life knows no bounds, as he has requested that in lieu of flowers, those that wish to honor and remember him donate to the American Diabetes Foundation, American Stroke Foundation or a charitable cause of your choice. Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Shawn Keith Miller please visit our Sympathy Store.
