Sergeant First Class Timothy Adam Forney Jr. was born January 26th, 1989 in Marion North Carolina.
From childhood through adulthood, he was raised in Union Mills, North Carolina where he learned the true meaning of love as well as hard work and dedication.
Timothy graduated in 2007 from Rutherford-Spindale High located in Rutherfordton, North Carolina. He began his love for the military at an early age by joining the MJROTC while attending high school. While in school, Timothy loved running long distance as well as playing football. He also had a passion for many other trades such as, a love for automotives (repairing them), engineering, as well as technology. Some of his favorite hobbies were cooking, writing poetry, drawing, traveling, as well as spending time with his family and close friends.
Sergeant First Class Timothy Forney Jr. joined the US Army in 2010 where he graduated basic training at Fort Leonard Wood Missouri. He also had the opportunity to be a part of Fort Sill (located in Oklahoma) for various schooling and training. Timothy later transitioned to Fort Hood, TX where he was able to achieve his current title of "Sergeant First Class" in 2022. Timothy finished and served the remainder of his term at Camp Mabry located in Austin TX.
Timothy A. Forney Jr. is survived by his loving Spouse (Lani Quinata Forney-Hutto, TX); Children (Christiana Quinata-Riggins, Kamalei Quinata-Riggins, Xavier Quinata-Forney, and Senneca Quinata-Forney of Hutto, TX); Parents (Timothy A. Forney Sr. and Sonya A. Forney-Union of Mills, NC); In-Laws (Dionico Camacho, Christine Camacho of Killeen, TX); (Vicente Pinaula, Saipan); Siblings (Jeanette Danielle Wilson of Greer, SC); (Ray M. Forney of Union Mills, NC); (Cassondria M. Forney of Grover, NC); (Megan & Peter King of Killeen, TX); (Ramon Aldan of Killeen, TX); (Christian Camacho of Killeen, TX); and (Princess Camacho of Killeen TX); as well as a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Timothy will forever be remembered for his gracious heart, his affectionate smile, and laughter he showed to others. The Forney family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers during this time.
