Tommy Eugene Barton

Tommy Barton, 73, of Belton passed away on Sunday, May 01, 2016 at a Belton nursing home. Private family services will be held at a later date. Tommy Eugene Barton was born on January 19, 1943 in Belton, Texas to T.O. Barton and Ruby Bane Driver. He spent his childhood days in Little River - Academy. He was a self-employed paint contractor for over 25 years. He was also a local baseball coach. He was a devoted, loving father, grandfather and brother. Survivors include one son, David Barton, of Temple; two daughters, Lisa C Barton, of Temple and Tami Barton, of Killeen; one brother, Mike Driver, of Coppers Cove; two sisters, Linda Driver Erickson and Debbie Driver Hayhurst, both of Round Rock; and five grandchildren, Ashley Barton-Lind, Madison Reed, Heather Lewis, Kayla Barton, and Justin Lewis. He was preceded in death by one son, Mike Barton, on November 10, 2011. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
