Tony Eugene Vasta Jr.

Tony (TJ) Eugene Vasta Jr., 39, of Gatesville formerly of Troy passed away on Thursday May 9th, 2019 at a Gatesville residence. Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday May 15, 2019 at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton with Pastor Sam Callaway officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00P.M.- 7:00P.M. Tuesday May 14th at Crotty Funeral Home of Belton . Tony was born on March 8, 1980 in Temple to Tony Eugene Sr. and Frances Clair Vasta. He worked in construction most of his life until he retired due to a disability. He graduated Temple High School in 1999. Tony loved listening to music, camping and barbeques. He loved spending time with family and friends. Survivors are his wife, Carolyn Vasta of Temple; his parents, Tony Eugene Vasta Sr. and wife Joyce both of Troy ,his mother, Frances Vasta of Gatesville; grandparents, Vincent and Doris Vasta of Troy; one son, Vincent Eugene Vasta of Temple; three sisters, Brandy Morgan of Oldsmar, FL., Misty Vasta of Rogers and Amanda Kiley of Belton. He was preceded in death by one brother, Nick Babb in 2018. Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton is in charge of arrangements.
