Tracy Hussey

February 16, 1963 — February 14, 2022

Tracy Hussey of Belton, age 58, loving mother of three, and an adoring wife to husband, Trey Hussey, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on the 14th of February 2022, after a courageous battle with liver disease.

Her family will be hosting a private service at a later date.

Tracy was born February 16, 1963, in Waco, Texas to Barbara and Terry Russell.

She grew up in Troy, Texas with her parents and 3 siblings. Tracy was influenced by her family to be a strong and caring woman, always taking care of her family and of any animal that crossed her path. She passed those family values and her love of animals down to her 3 children. Tracy met her husband Trey, while they both attended Troy High school, they fell in love instantly and shared a dream of starting a family one day. They got married in the summer of 1982 shortly after completing high school. Tracy and Trey attended McLennan Community College and Central Texas College together, where Tracy later received her bachelor’s in business. During this time, they also started their family and later opened their business Trey’s Diesel Fuel Injection and Automotive in 1999. As a mother, she was protective and generous. She made sure her children were always taken care of and never went without anything. She loved to spoil her children. In the last few years, Tracy became a grandmother and was thrilled to add to her growing family. Tracy loved spending time with her family, taking a family trip to the coast of Texas to fish or crafting in her art studio. She is greatly missed by her loving family and furry companion, Poppy. They all love Tracy with all their hearts.

Tracy is survived by her husband of 39 years, Trey Hussey, her three children, Zackary Hussey and his wife, Charlotte DeMartino Hussey, Chelsea Hussey, Baley Hussey, her two grandchildren, Braylen and Cole Hussey, her brother, Christopher Russell, her mother-in-law, Catherine Hussey, and numerous family members and friends.

Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton.
