Tyler Ray Motl, age 27, of Temple, a beloved son, brother, fiancé, and uncle, was born on August 7, 1996 in Temple. He lived his life to the fullest and touched the hearts of all who knew him. It is with heavy hearts that we announce his passing on October 11, 2023, in his hometown of Temple.

Following the service, Tyler will be laid to rest at Greathouse Cemetery.

Tyler was a vibrant and adventurous soul who had a deep passion for life. Despite facing numerous challenges, he approached every day with optimism and a determination to make the most of each moment. His kind heart and gentle spirit brought joy to those around him.

Tyler discovered great joy in various hobbies and interests. Fishing was one of his true passions - he cherished the peacefulness of the water and the thrill of reeling in a big catch. Barbequing was another one of his talents; he loved gathering friends and family around the grill to share delicious food and create lasting memories. Additionally, Tyler found solace in the tranquility of being at the lake, where he would often spend weekends soaking up the sun and enjoying nature's beauty.

However, above all else, Tyler's greatest source of happiness came from spending time with his loved ones. He treasured every moment he could be with his family and especially adored his nieces and nephew. His face would light up whenever they were near, bringing so much warmth into his heart.

Sadly, Tyler battled cancer for seven long years with immense bravery and resilience. Throughout his journey, he remained steadfast and faced each obstacle with unwavering strength. Although his physical pain was great, nothing could dim Tyler's indomitable spirit.

Tyler leaves behind an eternal legacy of love and courage. He is preceded in death by his loving mother, Jennifer Lynn Curts, who undoubtedly greeted him with open arms upon his arrival in Heaven.

Tyler is survived by his fiancé, Allison Mouser, who shared a bond filled with love and infinite support. His brothers, Sabre Meske and Taylor Meske, will continue to honor Tyler's memory and carry his spirit with them wherever they go. Inseparable in life, Tyler's twin sister, Skyler Motl will forever cherish the special connection they shared. Additionally, he is survived by his grandmothers, Jane Crow and Patricia Motl, who provided unwavering love and support throughout his journey. Tyler's precious nephew, Ryder Nance and his nieces, Marilyn Motl and Emberlyn Nance will always hold memories of their beloved uncle close to their hearts.
