Walter Stengel

Walter ""Butch"" Stengel Jr. passed away on Monday August 13, 2012 a Temple hospital. Private services will be held at a later date. His body was cremated. Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Stengel joined the U.S. Navy on February 1, 1962 until August 17, 1966. . He was a truck Driver for Construction Companies. He was a member of the VFW of Temple. Survivors are his mother, Frances Stengel of Wichita Falls; wife, Patricia Stengel of Temple; stepson, Kenny Knight of Madisonville; one brother, Jerry Dee Stengel of Midland and one sister, Mary Ann Elzie of Wichita Falls; three grandchildren.
