Charon Amarie Lane

Charon Amarie Lane, 47, of Bruceville Eddy passed peacefully in her own bed as she held her husbands’ hand on Friday, August 27, 2021.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Belton. Funeral Services for Charon will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2021, at 3:00 P.M. at Cornerstone Church in Robinson. Private family graveside services will be held at a later date.  

Charon was born on September 27, 1973, to Dennis and Bonnie Bernardi in Dallas. She married Dane Randall Lane on December 25, 2008. Charon loved antiques, anything pink, and if it wasn’t pink, she would paint it pink. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Robinson. Charon loved being a mother and a “Yaya”, as her granddaughter called her.

She is preceded in death by her father, Dennis Bernardi, and her daughter Megan Graham.

Charon is survived by her mother, Bonnie and step dad, Cliff Hackett of Robinson; her loving husband, Randy Lane of Bruceville Eddy; her son, Tyler Betros of Chetek, WI; her daughter, Katie Yankie of Moody; her step daughters, Kisha and wife, Teddy Fuentes of Temple and Tamera and husband, John Munoz of Troy; her brothers, Dennis Butch Bernardi, Derek Bernardi, Dylan Bernardi, all of Texas, and her grandchildren, Kyla Concepcion of Salado, Emmy Graham of Bruceville Eddy, and Gavin Lane of Troy.

Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton.
