Deborah Lynn Johnson

Deborah L. Johnson,55, of Belton passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021, at a local hospital.

A celebration of Deborah and also her father Roger Peters, who passed on, August 30, 2021 will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 2, 2021 At Coffell Ranch in Buckholts location is PR 1007 CR 462 Buckholts, Texas 76518

Deborah was born on July 5, 1966, in Missouri. She was the only child of Roger and Vera Peters and good thing because she was a handful from the start. Deborah always had a passion for law enforcement. She worked as Bell County dispatcher for several years and even trained new employees. Deborah worked for the Bell County Clerk’s office for up until her passing. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, fishing, live music, and shooting. You would seldom ever catch Deborah without packing her pistol. Her family will miss her spit fire attitude, words of wisdom, and support.  

She is preceded in death by her parents, Roger and Vera Peters.

Deborah is survived by her sons, Bradley Smith of Belton, Cody Smith of Gatesville, and Tyler Zoller of California; her only daughter, Alyssia Zoller of Georgia, and her five cherished grandchildren.
