Delfino Guajardo

November 2, 1932 — April 20, 2023

Belton, Texas

Delfino C. Guajardo Sr., 90, affectionately known as Mr. Del, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023. He was a lifetime resident of Bell County, Texas. Born on November 2, 1932 in Bartlett, Texas to Eusebio and Inez Guajardo.   Mr. Del lived a life filled with love, hard work, and dedication to his family. He was an avid baseball fan and loved the Texas Rangers. He loved music, loved working on cars, and caring for his lawn. Above all, Mr. Del cherished the time he spent with his family. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who always put his loved ones first.  His warm, caring nature and unwavering support made him a pillar of strength for his family and friends.

“I always remember when mama sent him food for his dogs that always put a smile on his face. He loved his dogs.  He appreciated everything that was given to him.  My mama always sent him food for himself and he would always say “thank you”. My Uncle will be missed by all who knew and loved him.” Mrs. Garza

He is preceded in death by his parents, Eusebio and Inez Guajardo, his wife, Maria Yolanda Luna Guajardo and his sons, Delfino Guajardo, Delfino C. Guajardo Jr.; his siblings, Concepcion Capetillo, Raymond Guajardo, Angel Guajardo, Angel Guajardo Jr., Domingo Guajardo, Nieves Guajardo Sr., and Antonio Guajardo; 3 sisters, Antonia Paredes, Albina Paredes, and Valentina Sierra

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter, Priscilla Rivera and her husband, Miguel; his grandchildren, Zachariah Guajardo, Miguel Rivera III, Jaira Rivera and Nastajja Rivera and one great grandchild. Many of his neighbors, friends and family will greatly miss him.

Until we meet again!  Book of Acts 24:15 “And I have hope toward  God, which these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.”

A viewing will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, May 1, 2023 at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton. After his viewing family and friends will leave in procession to North Belton Cemetery in Belton for his graveside at 3:00 P.M.
