Donald Wayne Johnson

Donald “DON” Wayne Johnson, 88, of Belton passed away on Saturday August 6, 2022 at a Temple hospital.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday August 10, 2022 at Resthaven Cemetery with Pastor Pete Cunniff officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 9, 2022 from 5:00P.M. until 7:00P.M. at Crotty Funeral Home of Belton.

Don was born on November 19, 1933 in Ft. Worth to Lee W. and Emma F. Goff Johnson. He served in the U.S Army and Airforce National Guard. He was a member of Masons Lodge #166.

 Don was an outdoors man and farmer and loved gardening and horses. He also worked for many years at the Belton Feed Store until his retirement. 

Survivors are his wife, Katie Sanford of Belton; two sons, Pete Cunniff of Ft. Worth and Glenn Cunniff of Belton; one daughter, Kelly Hanz of Ft. Worth; one brother, Walter Chamberlin also of Ft. Worth; 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 29 great great grandchildren.
