Erika Ramos Martinez

Erika Ramos Martinez, 47, of Temple passed away on October 3, 2021 at a Temple hospital.
Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday October 12, 2021 at Our Lady Guadalupe Catholic Church in Temple with Father Amado Ramos officiating.
Visitation will be Monday evening from 5:00P.M. until 7:00P.M. Rosary at 7:00P.M. 
Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple.
Erika was born on October 26, 1973 to Tuburcio Ramos and Carolina Martinez in El Naranjo, Hidalgo.  Throughout her childhood she was raised in Hermita, Michoacan. 
At the age of 13, her mother passed away and she took on the mother figure role for her siblings Aurelio, Leonel, Miguel, Claudia, Laura and Carmen Ramos. At the age of 15 she married, and she welcomed her first born at 16 years old.  On November of 2000 she moved to Temple, TX where she resided most of the following years. 
Her hobbies included cooking, organizing and tending to her garden of flowers and vegetables. She extended her hand to help anyone without them asking. Her kindness and selflessness will be remembered by all that had the grace of knowing her. Erika (Eri) will be dearly missed by them.
 She is survived by three sons, Edgar and wife, Karen Rodriguez, Eduardo Rodriguez and Sammy Rodriguez all of Temple; two daughters, Carolina and Daniela Rodriguez both of Temple; three brothers, Auerelio Ramos of Georgia, Leon Ramos of Temple and Miguel Ramos of Tennessee; three sisters, Claudia Ramos of Conroe, Texas. Laura Ramos of Temple and Carmen Ramos of Mexico; three grandchildren.
