Ester Rojas

November 5, 1932 — November 14, 2021

Ester Rojas, 89, of Belton went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 14, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loved ones.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 P.M. All services will be conducted at Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Belton. Ester’s burial will follow, led by police escort to Resthaven Cemetery on Belton.

Ester was born on November 5, 1932, in Rio Hondo, TX to Jesus and Manuela Zepeda. She was one of twelve children. Ester learned to work hard at a young age and never stopped.  She was always such a strong woman. Her four children will always remember the sacrifices she made to support and be the best mother possible. Her families’ memories consist of her always being so busy in the kitchen, making her famous tamales, bunuelos, and cleaning nonstop. Ester was the traditional image of a true woman and mother. Everyone always felt welcome and loved in her home. So many children were raised by her besides just her own and she loved children so much. The world was an amazing place with Ester in it and with her love for God, her family knows she is making Heaven a more amazing place as well. She attended Iglesia Marantha in Round Rock and will be dearly missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Manuela Zepeda, her husband, Baldomero Rojas, her brothers, Jesus Santos Garcia, Saul Zepeda, Rogelio Zepeda, her sisters, Rosita Cavazos, Emma Garcia.

Ester is survived by her daughters, Rosalinda Munoz of Harlingen, Rebeca Munoz of Cedar Park, and Raquel Garcia of Belton; her son, Samuel Rojas of Harlingen; sixteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and numerous cherished family members and friends.
