Gary Lee McGregor

Gary Lee McGregor, 69, of Salado passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at a Austin Hospital. 

A memorial will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Temple in Temple.

Gary was born on December 11, 1951 in Wichita Falls to Lee Roy McGregor and Margorie McGregor. He graduated from Salado High School in 1971 and was one of the four people that consisted of his graduating class. He met the love of his life Helen Hernandez while working together at a factory. They married on August 17, 1974 and together made a beautiful family. He soon started working for his family's business selling welding materials. Gary enjoyed reading and his wife never knew how he could read as often as he did. They enjoyed traveling after he retired. Gary loved to talk to people and could strike up a conversation with just about anyone. He attended The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Temple and loved spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lee Roy McGregor and Margorie McGregor.,

 Gary is survived by his loving wife of over forty-seven years, Helen McGregor of Salado; his sons, Joseph Lee McGregor and wife, Jennifer of Little Elm, and Aaron Patrick McGregor and wife, Sydney of Idaho Falls, Idaho; his sister, Rachel Elizabeth Caun of Dallas; his brothers, Larry McGregor of Salado, and Jim McGregor of Temple, his sisters, Cindy Fisher of Salado, and Rebecca Woodem of Scurry, and eight cherished grandchildren.
