Janean Anita Wilkes

Janean Anita Wilkes, 51, of Copperas Cove passed away on Monday, April 05, 2021 in a local nursing home. Janean was born on November 07, 1969 in Norwich, New York. She spent her days working as an elementary school teacher. Janean enjoyed spending time outside in nature and birdwatching. She was a very outgoing woman and always made everyone laugh. She loved caring for others and spending time with family and friends.

Janean is survived by her son, Adam Branch of Baton Rouge, LA; her daughters, Courtney Whittington of Slidell, LA, and A.J. Jones of Copperas Cove; her mother, Janet Smith; her sisters, JoAnna Allen of Ruston, LA, and Julie Carver of AZ; and three beloved grandchildren.
