Obituary

Rest in peace dear brother, love you forever.   His life a beautiful memory, his absence a silent grief.   

Jorge Garcia, of Nolanville, peacefully left this earth on Friday, April 7, 2023.   He graduated from High School in 1974, and graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY.   In addition to his culinary pursuits, Jorge proudly served his country in the United States Navy.  

He enjoyed traveling/RVing for work, cooking, gardening, and meeting people.  

Jorge made a lasting impact on everyone he met.  He was strong willed and independent, he cared about people, and he was there if you needed a helping hand.   He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.  

He is survived by a host of family and friends..   Preceding him in death was his father.

No formal service is scheduled.  Private inurnment will take place at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jorge's name to a charity of one's choice.
