Marguerite Ann Pilkenton

Marguerite Ann Pilkenton, 85, of Temple passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 in a local nursing home. Marguerite was born to Emma and Jesse Hooper on February 28, 1935 in Dayton, Ohio. She spent her days raising her family, who she enjoyed spending time with. She was an active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Selma. Marguerite was very loved by all her family and friends and will be dearly missed.

A memorial service for Marguerite will be held on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Belton. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Marguerite’s honor.

Marguerite is survived by her daughters, Tereasa Cannady of Schertz, Marguerite Hicks of Temple, and Mary Lynnette Wasson of San Antonio; her eight grandchildren, Rebecca, Brandie, Sarah, Lee, Cynthia, Gail, Adell, and Robbie; and her eight great-grandchildren, Timothy Roy, Austin, Timothy Robert, Audrey, Trentton, River, Phoenix, and Parker.

Marguerite is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Richard Pilkenton, who passed on August 29, 2005; and her brothers, John Edward Hooper and Robert Charles Phillips Jr.
