Teresa Wynecoop passed away peacefully in her sleep om May 10, 2022, after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Teresa was born September 6, 1954, to James “Pappy” and Myrtle Davis in Montgomery, AL. She attended Killeen schools. While skipping school one day in May of 1970 she met her future husband of 50 years. Eugene and Teresa were married on August 18, 1970, in Harker Heights.

After settling in Belton in 1980 she helped raise several of her family members whom she thought of as her own. Reese, Billy, and Donna Davis, and Kelsey and Addie Williams.

She worked many different jobs in her lifetime but the one she loved the most was being a secretary at St. Mary’s School. She loved when the little kids would come see her and give her hugs and pictures.

Teresa was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Eugene Wynecoop; a brother, James Davis, Jr, and a sister, Donna Davis.

She is survived by a daughter, Windy Teeters and husband Wes of Temple; five brothers, Robert Davis and wife Karen of Harrison, PA, Jerry W. Davis of East, TX, Reese Davis and wife Kathy of Belton, TX, Billy Davis of Temple, TX and Jerry L. Davis of Harrison, PA; two sisters, Renee Troche and Cindy Davis both of Temple; three grandchildren, Samantha Kellough and husband Blake of Academy, Zachary and wife Katie of Abilene and Hope Teeters of Temple; four great grandchildren, Parker Teeters, Zander Teeters, Estelle Kellough and Theodore Mcmanius. She is also survived by Niece, Kelsey Williams and great niece Addie along with a host of friends and family. Teresa was cremated and services will be announced at a later date.

Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton is in charge of arrangements.
