Virginia Gail Sirny

November 9, 1946 — September 2, 2021

Virginia “Gail” Sirny,74, of Belton passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2021, at a local hospital due to complications from the Covid -19 Virus.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Belton. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at Heights Baptist Church in Temple with Pastor Tom Henderson officiating. Her burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery in Belton.

Gail was born on November 9, 1946, to Lloyd and Helen Wiley in Cleveland, MS. Gail accepted Christ as her savior at a young age and was a member of Heights Baptist Church. She graduated from Belton High School. During her years of employment, she worked at Scott & White as a clerk, a cafeteria manager with the Temple School District, Bluebonnet Cafe, IHop and her son’s restaurant, Bill’s Grill. She will be remembered as always helping anyone in need and for the love of her family and friends.Gail loved to cook, sew aprons, Dallas Cowboys, scrapbook, oil paint, stain glass, crafts, play Bingo and go on trips and cruises with her friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, two of her brothers: Bobby Lloyd Wiley and Jesse Ronald Wiley and two husbands:  Stephen Carl Evans and Rod Campbell.

Survivors include her three children, Stephen and wife, Lea Evans of Troy, Kimberly Gail Reynolds of Belton, and Cindy Austin and husband, Charles Davis of Morgan’s Point; her brother, David Clark and wife, Cindy Wiley of Salado; her sister, Jane Helen Wiley of Austin; a sister-in-law, Mellicent Wiley of Huntsville, eleven grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials may be made to the Heights Baptist Church Kitchen Fund or Library Fund, 1220 S. 49th St., Temple, 76504 and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital

Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton.
