Winifred Jolley

December 26, 1941 — June 22, 2022

Winifred Jolley, 80, of Cambridge went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 22,2022 at a local nursing facility.

A memorial service will be held for Winifred at a later date at Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Belton.

Winifred was born on December 26, 1941, to Richard and Addie Macklin in Boston, Massachusetts. She was the proud mother of two daughters, three stepdaughters, and three stepsons. Winifred worked in home health for most of her life and was known for her caring heart. She never met a stranger and would invite everyone in to enjoy a meal or stay in her home in their time of need. She was an amazing cook and one that still made breakfast, lunch, and dinner for herself and family.  She and all those delicious meals will be missed by many.  She loved to dine out as well, her favorite places to dine were Chinese restaurants and Seafood restaurants. She enjoyed fried clams.  When anyone spent time with her, they were bound to laugh, because she loved to laugh and make others laugh.  If you had the opportunity to spend time with her, you were the better for it.  She might have had something to do with the phrase, “Shop ‘til you drop!” She has given her family and friends memories to cherish forever.

She is preceded by her stepdaughter Natasha Williams and stepson Eugene Williams.

She is survived by her partner in love and life of 45 years, Alfred Williams; two daughters, Stacie Gibson and Jenell Jolley of Killeen; two stepdaughters, Regina Williams McGill, and Brenda Williams Condry; two stepsons, Alfred Williams, and Adam Williams of Massachusetts;  her brothers, Morris Macklin, Willis Macklin, Archie Macklin, and David Macklin, all of Massachusetts; her sister, Pearl Macklin of Massachusetts; her granddaughters, Siara McMahon of Humble, Journie Jolley of Nolanville, Jazmyne Jolley of Austin, and Jannia Jolley of North Carolina, many nieces and nephews, and a host of great grandchildren.

She was truly loved and will be missed by so many.

Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton.
